It's clearly not Friday, but I had to talk about a short that you'll definitely want to watch!
Back in August, I shared with you 11-year-old Kymira's horror short Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning. She wrote, directed and starred in her creation—and seriously warmed my heart. After watching her film, I desperately yearned for her to bless our eyeballs with a sequel. And she did! Today, I'm back to share with you part 2 of her short: Zombie Apocalypse: The Journey.
The beauty about Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning is the development! This young filmmaker clearly shows us how intelligent, determined and innovative she is. However; in her latest installment, we see layers in the form of narration, captivating cinematography, sound effects, special effects and so much more.
In part 2, the story continues with the focal point of an 11-year-old girl who is alone after her mother left town for a job interview. The girl continues to search for her mother and assist anyone who may need help along the way. Throughout her journey, she tries to avoid the hazards of this new, isolated world.
Synopsis: 11-year-old Kymira continues on her journey which began in Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning. As she makes her way onward, Kymira makes a discovery. The zombies were close before and only getting closer now.
