This week's horror short is Fear Wish from directors Todd Spence and Zak White.
I feed on horror practically all day, both big and small screen releases. Because of this, every Friday I will share one of the newest independent shorts that I enjoyed. We'll call it our Friday Feasts!
Synopsis: To wish for something you need, you have to wish for something you fear.
This should be no surprise to you: I LOVE horror movies. I especially love independent horror filmmakers. From the writers and directors Todd Spence and Zak White come the sinister atmospheric short film Fear Wish. We witness a desperate husband trying to help a loved one; however, the cost for salvation requires quite a steep payment, especially when something ominous is involved.
In this three minute and forty second short, the directors keep you hooked to the hopelessness of this man. You question if you would ever wish for something impossible ... knowing there's a catch if somehow it becomes possible. One thing I'm reminded from this short, like the old adage goes: Be careful what you wish for.
I highly recommend watching Fear Wish.
