There's a new dark, fantasy coming to theaters on October 14th, 2016!
Juan Antonio Bayona's (The Orphanage, the upcoming World War Z sequel) A Monster Calls focuses on a young boy who seeks the help of a tree monster to cope with his single mother's terminal illness. The screenplay is by Patrick Ness, he wrote A Monster Calls novel. The film stars Lewis MacDougall, Felicity Jones, Toby Kebbell, Liam Neeson, and Sigourney Weaver.
SYNOPSIS: A young boy attempts to deal with his mother's illness and the bullying of his classmates by escaping into a fantastical world of monsters and fairy tales that deal with courage, loss and faith.
I enjoy dark fantasy films and I'm intrigued by the trailer. I'm definitely looking forward to this one!
