FILM -- Daniel

Awesome filmmaker Peter Dukes has done it again with his fifteenth short film Daniel!

One of the first Peter Dukes films that I've ever seen and that made me fall in love with his directing skills was Little Reaper, a short horror comedy about the daughter of the Grim Reaper, who doesn't want to follow in the family business! Doesn't that sound awesome? Whelp, check out my review on Little Reaper!

Daniel is a 3-minute short that tells the story a young kid who is hiding from intruders, but it's not quite what it seems! Peter shows what other filmmakers are lacking these days: creativity, originality, building and suspense. The short ends with the viewer wanting to see what happens next; however, I love that that's how he leaves it. In my opinion, as the viewer, you don't need to see what happens next because this is where your imagination comes in! You can simply imagine it yourself.

Overall, I recommend this dark paranormal short. You will not be disappointed! The cinematography was creepy and amazing, which was expected. Mr. Peter Dukes is an admirable director as well story teller. I'm confident that if the film were supposed to be a full feature, we'd see something completely mesmerizing and incredible. Peter is tackling the horror genre with his short films that always leaves you wanting you more.

5 out 5 queen skulls!
