From Academy Award nominated filmmaker Guillermo del Toro comes a thriller entitled The Strain, based on one of the best selling vampire novel trilogies written by del Toro and Chuck Hogan. It tells the story of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, the head the Center for Disease Control Canary Team in NYC. Dr. Goodweather and his team are called upon to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak that may involve vampirism.

The first season of The Strain offers thirteen episodes that will begin on Sunday, July 13th at 10 PM ET/PT on FX.
