Guys, this is a quick post just to let you know that I’m looking forward to Oculus.
I have my ticket for Saturday morning and hope to see what the hype is behind this mirror called the Lasser Glass. According to Kaylie, the little girl in the film, it was the reason behind her parents’ death, not her brother Tim, who was convicted as a teenager and released in his 20s. Thank the heavens that when I stare in my mirror and say, “Boy, you look good and you’re going to kill them,” the mirror doesn’t really kill people. See, my mirror has great manners. So to come across a mirror with bad manners is interesting to me.
In addition, I’m excited to see Katee Sackhoff and Karen Gillan together. I’ve been a fan of Katee Sackhoff since her character Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica and her stint in Riddick. Whereas Karen Gillan stood out in Doctor Who as Amy Pond. Would I be wrong to arrive with my Battlestar Galactica socks and Doctor Who shirt to a horror movie? Let me go ask my mirror.
