If you haven't heard already, Franck Khalfound (High Tension, P2 and Maniac)...
will be directing the new Amityville movie behind Blumhouse Productions!
There are only two actresses confirmed for the film, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Bella Thorne. Jennifer will play Joan, a single mother raising three kids alone. The family will move into the infamous "Amityville" house only to learn that it is has a horrible past.
The film may be released on January 2nd, 2015 and be titled The Amityville Horror: The Lost Tapes so clearly it will be a found-footage film.
