Upcoming Horrors for March 2013!

It's March! It's time to share the list of all the delightful horrors that are coming out this month! It doesn't matter if it's straight to DVD or theaters--horror is HORROR!

If you've already checked any of the movies out, please let me know; or if you plan on checking any out...let me know anyway! Or! If I'm missing any, let ME know!



The Monk - RELEASE DATE: March 8th, 2012
An apprentice monk has the miraculous gift to relieve headaches, yet he hides his disfigured face under a wax mask...Um, ok. Maybe it's a good movie, guys! I don't know!



Curandero: Dawn of the Demon - RELEASE DATE: March 12th, 2012
An action-packed horror flick that takes a couple on a horrifying journey through the deepest bowels of the Mexican underworld!



Hellgate - RELEASE DATE: March 12th, 2012
A businessman, his wife and son experience a horrible accident while visiting Bangkok. In the aftermath, they find there is a shadow world between life and death where endless darkness lies.



The Call - RELEASE DATE: March 15th, 2012
When a veteran 911 operator takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl who has just been abducted, the operator realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl's life.



My Amityville Horror - RELEASE DATE: March 15th, 2012
For the first time in 35 years, Daniel Lutz recounts his version of the infamous Amityville haunting that terrified his family in 1975. This documentary reveals the horror behind growing up as part of a world famous haunting.



Shadow People - RELEASE DATE: March 19th, 2012
This film was inspired by true events and focuses on a radio talkshow host who's drawn to exploring paranormal activity by a caller and an unexplained death.



Dark Feed - RELEASE DATE: March 19th, 2012
A film crew moves to an abandoned psychiatric hospital to shoot a low budget horror film. The crew experiences late nights and lack of sleep due to the film as it begins to take a toll on them all. What's even stranger is that the building they are in becomes wet, almost like it's coming ALIVE!

As the filming continues, members of the crew exhibit increasingly strange behavior, leaving those still sane to realize that they need to escape before the building gets them too!
Hmmm! This one seems like it'll be pretty awesome.



Thale - RELEASE DATE: March 21st, 2012
The film is based on a mythical character in Nordic folklore called the "huldra". The story behind the myth is that the huldra is a beautiful creature that has female attributes and lives deep in the woods. In the myth, it is said that it seduces men by humming a beautiful song. Consequently, the men never return to their village. And oh, you can recognize the huldra by its cow tail.



Come Out and Play - RELEASE DATE: March 22nd, 2012
A couple goes on vacation before the birth of their child. They set out to a beautiful island, but soon discover it’s mysteriously abandoned. And the only other people on the island are children. What? Well, the couple soon uncovers the mystery of the island.



A Resurrection - RELEASE DATE: March 22nd, 2012
This film is set during one day/night at a high school. A guidance counselor, principal and local police officer must save the lives of several trapped students before a paranormal entity kills them all.



Room 237 - RELEASE DATE: March 29th, 2012
An experimental documentary explores the numerous theories about the real meaning of Stanley Kubrick's film 'The Shining.'

  1. THE MONK might be worth seeing just for Vincent Cassel! He blows it up and rules in pretty much anything he's in. Also might be interested in the Amityville thing, since horror-docs that are supposed to be "real" are always interesting to watch & speculate on...
