Director Scott Derrickson confirmed that he is interested in seeing a sequel made. I'm not too sure on how to feel about it yet because I wanted to see Sinister so bad and when I saw it I kind of felt like it was a let down. It definitely had creepy elements but I wanted MORE! I also wanted Ethan Hawke to take off that old man moldy looking sweater too...but that has nothing to do with the movie nor does anyone else care.
Anyhow, the film did very well, in my opinion! It earned about $65.4 million worldwide. The blu-ray/DVD will be released on the 19th of this month.
Hopefully, the sequel will be more descriptive with the story and also with the character Bughuul.
I agree! I wanted SO MUCH MORE from that film.

I'm not sure I would watch the sequel....
