HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Robert Englund!

I just had to do a special post dedicated to Robert Englund, one of the most AWESOMEst men in horror, and wish him a happy birthday! Today, our horror legend is 65 years old. Thank you for frightening my childhood, making me want to get a crucifix, and never allowing me to sleep again. You're incredible!
As Freddy Krueger in Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street, he hanunted kids dreams with his irreplacebable performance! This ultimately made him famous. Sucks to be dude who TRIED to play Freddy Krueger in the remake of Nightmare on Elmstreet, Jackie Earle Haley. It's hard shoes to fill and let's just face it, Mr. Haley, you looked like a fish. Better luck next time!

In recent news with our beloved, Robert Englund appeared as himself in the Call of Duty: Black Ops zombies map pack, “Call of the Dead“. How awesome is that?

Let's honor is birthday and enjoy one of his classic, timeless horror performances of your choice! Is there a certain Robert Englund performace that stands out to you?

 If so! Let me know!

  1. I always thought Haley looked like a goat in his Freddy make-up. Kinda creepy, but I like it too...does that make me a bad man? Cuz I have Robbie's book...
