FILM REVIEW -- Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

This awesome film was released June 22nd, 2012 and directed by Timur Bekmambetov! I was invited to check this film out for free on opening night--whoo hoo!

Anyway, the storyline is about the former President's quest to rid the world of vampires! It was gory, filled with violence and action--I need no more!

It wasn't perfect but good enough for me! 4 out 5 queen skulls!

  1. Uh oh, It looks like you've turned to a life of vampire hunting! I liked the music in your video. I can't wait to see this movie! I just found out that the actor who plays Abraham Lincoln is married to Meryl Streep's daughter. So there's some random trivia for you. :)

  4. I don't get why people hated this movie so much. I had a great time. It's campy, not to be taken seriously.

  5. Loved, loved, loved, LOVED this movie! I agree with msmariah, it's campy and not intended to be taken too seriously. What I love about this movie so much was the fact that it wasn't the type of campy to turn you off and make it a stupid movie.

It was the type of campy that makes you enjoy yourself while watching it and laugh and smile throughout the movie. Which is something I found myself doing constantly. It's nice to see a movie where Vampires are back to their horror roots and they don't sparkle in the sunlight. IMO, I really hope they make a sequel. ;)

  7. I think some people hate AL:VH because they make the stupid mistake of comparing the movie to history books. I think they may have missed the role that fiction plays in this movie. It doesn't matter to me. I'm still going to see it.
