When I first heard they were remaking this film, I was so unsure because Joe Spinell's performance was untouchable. He oozed maniac! And when I found out that Elijah Wood (Frodo, The Lord of The Rings) took the lead role, I was still a bit unsure. But after seeing the stills, he fits the role perfectly!
In this film, Elijah Wood plays the role of a serial killer who works at a shop that sells antique mannequins. He finds victims on the internet and stalks them like prey, all the while suffering from hallucinations that throw him back into the past, where he was abused by his own mother. In his twisted mind, he's getting revenge against his mother with each kill he performs.

ReplyDeleteI wasn't too fond of the original but Joe gave a great performance. I have to admit, I am excited that Elijah Wood is playing the lead. I loved him ever since his Frodo Baggins days. That's 10 years of lovin' baby! ;)

ReplyDeleteUh...not exactly sure how I feel about this. Elijah Wood, I'm not really fond of him...and I never liked LOTR at all (pop one in a DVD player and you'll have me asleep for the next half hour...no offense.)
