FILM POSTER -- The Possession

On August 31st, 2012 this awesometastical film directed by Ole Borneda will be released! I just HAD to post the film poster up...had to! For more information on the film, you can check out their Twitter or Facebook!

The Possession is the terrifying story of how one family must unite in order to survive the wrath of evil. Clyde and Stephanie Brenek don't care when their youngest daughter Em becomes oddly obsessed with an antique wooden box she bought at a yard sale. As Em’s behavior becomes more erratic, the parents Clyde and Stephanie fear the presence of a malevolent force surrounding them. They soon discover that the box was built to contain a 'dibbuk', a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its host.

Doesn't it sound ooberly creepy? Joy! Hopefully, this is another great film on it's way to become a part of the horrific kingdom!

  1. You know, I never really believe movies that portray 'exorcisms', they say it's BASED on a "true story" that pretty much kills it for me. When they say it's "based", I know that they may have changed a few things from the original story and ruins it for me.

My 2 cents, nice blog by the way!

  2. Hey, this sounds like a cool one! I always like a good possession movie, and the twist of the 'dibbuk' in the box is new to me. I sometimes think of things like possessed/haunted objects when I'm at estate sales. Not like I've run into any possessed objects while shopping. It's just that I've seen a few movies and read a few stories about people who bring possessed objects home.

P.S. ~ That poster is so creepy, and yet I can't look away!
