***I HAD TO REDIT VIDEO!!!***
Directed by Wes Craven. Scream was released on December 20th, 1996. In my opinion, Scream spiced up the horror game in the 90s and brought it back to life. Ultimately, it broadened the horror film audience! I hope you guys enjoy my video review! Please don't forget to subscribe, comment & rate! Thanks. :)
I really love the Scream series! The first film was totally creative. Wes is such a genius when it comes to reinvigorating the horror genre, really...
ReplyDeleteI especially like how Scream 2 and 3 worked out. They're not the typical sort of horror sequels. I still haven't seen the 4th movie though. Have you? If so, did you enjoy it?
Wes is a genius, I did see 4 and to me, it was very predictable because about 20-30 minutes into the movie I knew what was going to happen. It is very entertaining though and its a great update to the series even though it didn't really need an update but it was still good!
ReplyDeleteI think you'll enjoy it! And if you don't...you'll enjoy the soundtrack. Lol.
Scream completely rejuvenated the horror franchise. After the awesomeness of the 80s, horror films were in decline. Until Scream, many horror films went straight to video. That's how big Scream was. Scream gave the genre it's groove back.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I can see that I'm not the only one getting bizarre phone calls. :)
ReplyDeleteScream was great! That movie reminds me of being in high school. The same year this came out, I had a teacher who would yell and scream at us lot. I remember a time he started yelling stuff at us like "You kids and your movies! Yell, or Shout, or scream or whatever it is!" Then he pounded on a desk so hard, the legs snapped off. I associate that moment with Scream. Yeah, but anyway it was a good movie. I didn't see the second or third Scream, but I really want to see the fourth for some reason!
Scream was an awesome movie. Classic, as everyone knows. I thought Wes really showed who was king with that movie.

ReplyDelete@MsMariah I completely agree & noticed that before Scream plenty of horrors went to video/TV.
ReplyDelete@Justine You know those strange people & their phone calls! LOL @ Yell/Shout, those would have been great titles! And that's outrageous how he broke the tables leg off. x_x! The 4th was entertaining, a bit predictable...but pretty good.
@Ric I'm glad you agree! Thanks for stopping by & replying. ^_^
